I had a Hummingbird Hawk-moth visit a hanging basket at my kitchen window today at 5-15 pm I live in Carlisle Cumbria, are they any more sightings in the country?

Yes there have been other sightings this year some quite early on which might be because they successfully over wintered in this country. Last year was an extremely good year for seeing this moth in the UK.
