Cricket or Ladybug? (1 Viewer)

At first glance I assumed this was a ladybug, but on closer inspection, those rear legs look like a cricket. Does anyone have a clue what kind of beetle this is?

It appears to be a Japanese Beetle. God help your plants ;)

Yes it does, doesn't it? Fortunately, I found it a few miles away but still, I'd prefer not seeing it anywhere. Thank you for your quick response.
