1 - First is a butterfly. I can't make this a Meadow Brown or Speckled Wood but probably is one of them. Essex.
2 - Large skipper ? Kent
3 - Terrible picture. Pattern visible. London.
4 - Bad picture. Pattern visible. London.
5 - Another bad picture. Distinctive pattern. London
6 - Big brown moth. Can't find on ukmoths.

1 Meadow Brown
2 male Large Skipper
3 Awful photo but pretty sure Burnished Brass
4 Meal Moth, Pyralis farinalis
5 so bad shouldn't attempt an ID, but crosslines made me think an over-exposed Willow Beauty, but a guess for such an awful photo
6 Gypsy Moth

Thanks aeshna.

Very helpful. Yes I was using my mobile and should have had flash on for the low light ones.

The one I know it isn't is willow beauty as the pictured moth was more dusty wave sized.

I shall Google the rest of your answers and have a read.

Many thanks.
