When I was in Texas this Canary very pretty colors came down by me in a tree, it followed me around, and it sang a lot happily. I thought this is not normal behavior. I put my hand out and it landed on it talking up a storm. I felt this is not a wild bird. So going around the block, house after house, I found its owner, and she let me inside. The whole house had trees inside, a water fountain, and pools flowing, it was amazing, and the different birds flew around freely. The bird took off from my hand and flew to its owner, and than went over to its favorite tree.

I know this is about wild birds, but did I do the right thing?

I mean could the canary of lived out in the wild if I let it be?
