Help...What type of Heron is this? (1 Viewer)

Can anyone identify the Heron in the next post?

First I thought it was a Great Blue Heron but when I compared with other photos it didn't quite look the same. Then I compared with many other Herons and found no closer match.

What I can say is that it was by itself, feeding on small fish at the outer extremities of the swamp around 5:45pm (just before twilight).

The legs and beak were noticably yellow. Chest and front neck predominantly white. Rest of the bird predominantly gray. No noticable colours on body other that white and gray.

Hoping for feedback,

rka
