Diving-petrel in Chile? (2 Viewers)

I took the attached rather distant shots from the Chacao-Pargua Ferry to Chiloe in November last year.
My initial reaction was that it was a Diving-petrel, possibly Common, but the shots of it taking off don't look quite right.
Would anyone like to comment? Thanks.

Thanks Rasmus. My doubts were mainly because I thought that the wings looked too broad but maybe its the angle of the shot that gives this impression.
