Here is a not very good pic of a duck.It is digi scoped at a fair distance.
It cannot be anything unusual,but I cannot seem to identify it.
Please,please,do not tell me it is a Mallard hybrid!!

Looks like a female Pochard to me Christine, although we might end up with another debate about Aythya hybrids if we're not careful.
 
Thanks Fife birder.If we have another wind free day this week I'll go out again and have another look.There were 2 pairs of these ducks,but they were on the far side of the lagoon,so not very easy to photo,especially as they don't keep still for 5 mins.
