help with identification of 2 birds (1 Viewer)

I took the pictures at a farm outside the city of Lahore, Pakistan. the first seems to be a tern which kind i am not sure. The second one is a bittern perhaps but i am not sure. please help with identification.

The first I can say nothing about. The second looks rather like a Chinese pond heron, but I'm not very sure about the bill color, and have no idea if their range reaches to you. Surely others will have more to say...
