Sure you don't want to look a bit more closely Chris? It looks like a juvenile bunting to me - maybe Rock Bunting, but I'm not totally sure.
 
Oops! No dark terminal bars on the wing coverts and no yellow base to the lower mandible - for a start. :-C

Second go! Broad eye stripe running round the rear of the ear coverts, bi-coloured bill, rufous upper tail coverts, thin white margins on tail, no Emberiza pattern on the tertials. Juvenile > 1st. winter Rock Bunting.
