Adapter for Wingspan Monocular and Moto G6 Phone (2 Viewers)

I got tired of reading all the conflicting reviews at Amazon and the blog articles that don't really tell you anything, so I thought I try asking here.

I have a Wingspan monocular with a 40mm diameter eyepiece ("cup" included).

I also have a Moto G6 phone (in removable case) that measures 157mm by 75mm.

Can you suggest an adapter that really works for this combo?

I have a tripod (want a better one) and just discovered that the earbuds for the phone work as a remote shutter control for the camera! Who knew?!

Even if not for this combo in particular, can you suggest an adapter that you know works for a cell phone and monocular?
