Only 30 states to Go ! (1 Viewer)

I would like to make a suggestion, although I don't know how feasible it would be.

Might it be possible to list the states in alphabetical order so that we can quickly see if a thread already exists concerning a particular state?

I just had a red breasted grosbeak at my feeder yesterday morning! In Raleigh, North Carolina!!!!! Wowsers! I know they migrate through for a few days, but what luck in my tall pines and oaks back yard, with no meadow or pond nearby. Wonderful!!!

Just to clarify, the idea behind the State index is for members to write a little piece about any locations in that State where they go birding. The UK has a County by County index. It helps other birders who both live in your area and those who may visit that area to find new locations to go birding or simply to see what types of bids may be visible in that area.

Here's an example of the type of thing we mean - Low Barns, County Durham, UK.

If you see your State in the list, please add an entry. The remaining States should be added soon :t:
