Hello,

Did somebody bought and/or tested the 4 x 21 mm binocular, from Bushnell.

I am interested in this model because it offers a very wide field of view, usable to scan landscape, and also large stellar field.

Thank you in advance for your information.

It's a porro, not a roof. I tried it just long enough to decide that it is awful (didn't take me long). Look at the Miyauchi widefield models for a better (but more expensive) experience.

I have a Bushnell 5x25. Bought it because of the wide field of view. The optics are low-class, however. The most of the field is unsharp and distortioned and there are a hugh amount of reflexes and ghost image. The Miyauch 5x32 is a much more interesting alternative, and surely FAR better then the Bushnells X-wide.

Hello,
The only problem with the Miyauchi model this is its price.

Certainly justified, however high !

As regard the Buschnell model, "the case is closed".
