A little more unusual this time....but interesting all the same
This may be more suited to the 'Nature and Art' area of this Forum.
There was a short article relating to 2 bird portraits in this particular programme if you look at 12mins 33secs until 13mins 55secs into the programme.

The interesting matter was that the 2 birds came from North America of the Meadow Lark and the Quail.
The portraits end up in the UK - nothing wrong with that we all say.:king:
{The dates of when the portraits where produced was between the years 1870-1880}
The selling price for the portraits varied between
The USA @ $500-$800
The UK @ £120
What do people think of this, as it shows that species native to their country give a lot more value for money in the Art trade if this is the case.
