Hello everyone. I'm not a serious bird watcher, but I feed the garden birds and enjoy photographing them (in an amateurish way). I also have 3 wild hedgehogs living in my large garden which I feed and film using a garden video cam.

Hi there Shirley and a warm welcome to you from those of us on staff here at BirdForum :t:

We're glad you found us and thanks for taking a moment to say hello. Please join in wherever you like ;)

Welcome to BirdForum! I am sure you will find lots to interest you here, and I hope you enjoy your visits.

Hi Shirley, welcome to the forum. I think you will find us a friendly and helpful group.

Thanks everyone. Your enthusiasm is certainly rubbing off on me. I am lucky to live within a comfortable drive of Fairburn Ings, so I may take my new camera along once I have become familiar with it. I probably won't have a clue what I'm photographing but you've all been so helpful that I'll ask for help with an ID if I can't find a match on the internet.

And below is a link to our Bird I D sub-forum which you can ask your I D questions there and it will be very helpful if you have a photo of the bird you want identification for ;)
