Olympus have just released photo stacking in firmware for the E-M1, pity I havn't got one of the 3 lenses it works with. It will be interesting if anyone out there can test it out and perhaps convince me to buy another lens.....

Hi iveljay, I have this camera and am fortunate to have the macro 60mm and the 40-150pro. I have only played with the new firmware it takes 8 shots from different parts of the sensor and combines them to make one image. It seems to work well, but like all things it depends on how deep into focus stacking you are!
I am quite surprised and pleased with the results thus far.
Kind regards mike
