Plants for my pond (1 Viewer)

Hi, I have some irises to put in my garden pond. At the moment they are floating on the water surface. How do I get them to stay upright? I'm assuming I need to pack a plant pot with soil and some stones to weigh it down, and then put some mesh over the top. Is there any easier way of doing it? Help appreciated.

Hi
You need pots with holes in to allow oxygen to reach the roots - available from garden centres. Add poor quality soil, cover with gravel. Sorted!
