ID please - Found on dead wood, on riverbank (1 Viewer)

Hi,

Can anyone help ID these for me? Spotted this morning as I was walking the dogs. The branch is resting in the water so very wet, and I had to go knee deep to get close enough for a picture :)

Very pretty - looked like daisies!

Thanks in advance,

Mark.

Hi Mark,

That's dedication :)

The greyish gills, early appearance, white slender stems, growth on wood, and (especially) the veil remnant around the margin that look like tiny pieces of torn paper point to Psathyrella candolleana

Cheers,
Nick
