Many thanks. I walked it myself on Sunday and found it was just under a mile. The reason that I wanted to know was that I wanted to carry my scope and tripod plus either my second-heaviest camera or my heaviest camera and its tripod, which is quite a weight for an old man with a bad back! In the event, the birds were very distant so I took the second-heaviest camera first and went back again for the big one! A terrible record shot of the Lesser Yellowlegs will be on my www.cleybirds.com soon!
