Pearl-bordered Fritillaries Sussex (1 Viewer)

I'm heading down to Sussex next week and was planning to look for PBFs at Abbot's Wood, and possibly Rewell Wood too. Can anybody give me any advice on the best areas to search? Especially at Abbot's Wood? Private msg is fine if deemed sensitive information. Thanks :) Jonathan

We visited Abbotts Wood today and saw a minimum of 21 Pearl Bordered Fritillary. It is a big wood and the PBF seem to favour one small area. Park in the car park (£2.30 for 2 hours) and take the trail signed behind the toilets called Abbotts Amble. I will PM you an approx. map reference. You are looking for cleared areas with plenty of Bluebells growing in the North West of the wood.
