Results of the November 2005 competition with the theme 'Single Bird' -

1st - Red Kite wins the competition with the entry Kite Flying with 45/190 votes cast.
2nd - SveinB with the entry Atlantic Puffin having attracted 24/190 votes.
3rd - Marise with Acorn Thief having attracted 13/190 votes.

A very high standard of entries this month made selecting a favourite very difficult.

Congratulations to each of you and to every one who entered and thank you to everyone who participated in the voting :t:

The entries will be left in place for a few days after which they will be moved to their appropriate forums.

Details of the next theme challenge will then follow.

Congratulations to Red Kite and SveinB - well done, and thanks everyone for all your comments - (and votes!) on my pic, I'm chuffed to bits to come third!

Congratulations Redkite. I knew you would be the winner. My second and third choices were also spot on. Well done everyone they where all stunning. Best Comp yet.

Best set of entries yet in my opinion and a very worthy winner.

I was wondering if anyone else takes 'degree of difficulty' into consideration when casting a vote?...eg flying bird/static bird, skulking/confiding etc. or whether they just vote on the final image.

Congratulations to the top three; definitely outstanding shots that well-deserved their many votes.
