Vixen SG 2.1x42 (1 Viewer)

I just went outside and spent a few minutes with my Vixen SG 2.1x42 Wide-Angle Binocular. First focusing upon Mars—the great pumpkin. And then enjoying the fishhook of Scorpio. Very nice. I also made out a few jewels in the Sagittarius/Scorpio region.

These binoculars also make interesting daytime observing. Just bumping the eyesight from 1x to 2x can be a welcome change.

I have used mine to observe clouds, landscapes, and many other wide-angle situations.

Are they alpha? Yes and no. But they are unique for those who like binocular optics.
