Diopter adjustment ring not working (1 Viewer)

I have a great pair of Nikon 8X30 8.8 degree WF bins. Recently the diopter adjuster ring has gone loose and no longer works. Anyone had this problem? Is it a quick fix or even self fix? Thanks

The diopter ring is probably prevented from slipping by three tiny grub screws. They may be visible on the ring if you look carefully or you may need to remove the eye cup to see them. Tighten with a small jeweler's screwdriver. The hardest bit is resetting the diopter scale accurately, which is not strictly necessary as long as you can remember your new number.
