strange UK cricket for ID (1 Viewer)

I thought this was a Great Green Bush Cricket, but its wings are far to short and the hood behind its head has a much shallower angle than in any book I have.

Could it be an immature specimen?
Will its wings grow later?
Is it a deformed specimen?

Location was UK, Devon South Coast.

Many thanks for any assistance.
