Pune, India ID: Crow or Raven?
I've been assuming this visitor to my fountain is a crow, but someone tells me 'raven.' I'm more familiar with U.S. crows/ravens, so someone please help me here! Call is traditional 'caw, caw' that I associate with crows. U.S. ravens have a low chuckling sound.
This is in Pune. These birds often bring their morning roti to dip in the water and soften it for eating. So far very friendly, not aggressive, allowing me to stand within a few feet while they go about their breakfast and drinking.
Thanks!
