10x42 EL Rainguard (1 Viewer)

Hello all,

I lost the old, plastic rainguard for my 10x42 EL WB (non-SV) a while back and had been using an 8x42 EO one I had laying around, but have found it to be a little to 'sticky' for my liking; I tried stretching it through a variety of means and though it helped somewhat, the issue persists.

As such, can anyone recommend a replacement cover? I wasn't a huge fan of the original though I'd return to it if I found it priced well, I suppose.

Happy birding,
Justin

Will the Swarovision rainguard fit it?

Probably not because it is angled down to fit the contour of the Swarovision rubber armouring.

I personally dislike the hard plastic Swarovski rainguards and have a Zeiss FL cover on my 7x42 SLC and an Ultravid cover on my 10x42 SV.
Either should work well on your 10x42 WB.
Another alternative is the old style oval Zeiss rainguard, which will fit just about any bin and is, I think, still available from Eagle optics.

John
