We've just returned from a very enjoyable birding holiday in the Extremadura region of Spain. As is often the case I spent a lot of time waiting near tripod and telescope for something good to turn up. Why is it whenever something does its always when your standing with a cuppa in hand?

What do you do with the damn cup, by the time you put it on the ground the bird has usually disappeared behind a hill or tree and as you stand back in frustration then the way your luck is running you invariably forget and kick over the cup!

We need tripod manufacturers to come to the rescue with some sort of secure clip on cup holder. :brains:

Hi Stewart,

Now there's one to think on, though who knows? They may already be working on the prototype now! Bet a bob you'll be first to check it out when it hits the shops!;)

Good luck!

Sue.

Perhaps at the same time they could think of hand warmers for cold mornings in Extremadura and Northumberland!;)

Perhaps some kind of squishy container that would fit in a top pocket with a straw would be good and then we could keep on birding without stopping!
