I took this picture at the end of May on Craignish Point, south of Oban.

I've also shown a much closer crop if you want it.

I've never heard of this one, so quite pleased to have a picture of it.
 
Hi Delia, Yes I,ve never seen one on my travels before, but then again I don,t frequent the habitat enough to make that happen thou grassy places and woodland locally would be my best chance of doing so, I see they are a Biennial/perennial and also they have a Interesting papery calyx that the flowers emerge from that also expands when in fruit.
