Suggestion for budget DSLR?

So back in the day I had a canon 550D with a 400mm 5.6l canon lenses which was great! But since then Iíve sold everything and now Iím back on the scene, donít have much cash to be fair like I did back then so Iíve got myself a spotting scope, and a decent tripod, thinking about a DSLR now, Iíve looked up the 550d and the 7d and both are reasonably priced! Just wondering if thereís anything else out there which I could start off digiscoping with?

Thanks for any help
