Opinions on HR 80 GA ED please (1 Viewer)

I see there is a new model
ES 80 GA Mk II ED/45
£80 more than the old one

Principle modifications include;
• A new shape body in magnesium, polycarbonate
and aluminium protected in textured natural
rubber armour
• Application of Opticron F-type multi-coating to
enhance colour contrast and apparent resolution
• Nitrogen waterproofing
*ES 100 GA ED due in May 2006

just checked still there
You're absolutely right!! When I first looked it was there but when I revisited a couple of minutes later it seemed to have disappeared. It must be me.

Hello,
I'm new on the forum and...I'm french that's why my english is not very good. So, excuse me if you don't understand all that I say...It will be a good exercise!
I'm interest in acquiring an opticron model but in France there is as it were no information about it. The only that I find is on ornithomedia.com, and it concern a test realised by a norwegian specialist named "Kikkertspesialisten" who has compared 37 scopes models, and in which opticron's models are in interesting positions.
This is the link of the test:
http://www.ornithomedia.com/pratique/equipemt/equipement_art50_1.htm
I think there is an english version of the test here: http://www.kikkertspesialisten.no/

Is somebody could tell me what he thinks about this test?
Thanks, Nicolas
