Thanks for the correction Andy, looks much more like it although all the pictures have the wings open, mine always settled with the wings flat and closed. But I am sure you are right. Gareth

They often settle upside down underneath the leaves so think yourself lucky!
 
It was in the blazing sun and busy feeding. I forget his name now but I knew a guy who was into photographing insects in a big way. He used to carry with him a small mirror, to photograph insects on the under-side of leaves and also "arty" pictures of mushrooms and toadstools
