I already posted this in Birdnews, there are several sections of this forum that overlap and could perhaps be condensed or even done away with?
Why do we need this section when it could all go under World bird news, could arguably do away with the conservation section too and have all three under one heading?
Whilst any increase in this magnificent raptor must be welcomed, it seems there's a continued strong correlation with the species' absence from suitable habitat and the areas managed for intensive grouse shooting which can only be described as very disappointing.

Actually, there are reasons to be suspicious of the results of that survey:
1 - why did they postpone the survey from 2013 to 2015?
2 - then, why did they wait a year and a half to publish the results?
3 - why is it that the study itself hasn't been published?
