Canon EOS/Celestron Ultimate 80
New to this forum and to digiscoping. Got my feet wet (on a budget) with the Ultimate 80 and an adapter for my iPhone 6. Pleased with the results, for the most part, but frustrated by the setup required to get the adapter and phone lined up properly. I also have a Canon EOS Xsi 450D, with two lenses -- 35-80mm, and 50-250mm. I learned that with a t-ring, offered by Celestron for Canon EOS cameras, I can attach the camera body directly to the scope's eyepiece. I also learned (I think) that with the proper adapter ring I can attach the lens, on the camera body, directly to the scope's eyepiece.
So that's my question: should I expect better results by mounting the camera body only, or the body + one of the lenses?
Thanks for any advice.
