Strange bird in my garden (1 Viewer)

Hi
I’m new to this forum, I live in Essex in the UK.
I had a visitor in my garden and hopefully my photo uploaded so you can see.
Could anyone shed any light onto what this bird is?

Yes I think Rich is spot-on. On our recent holiday in Suffolk these were regular visitors to our back yard of the cottage we were renting. In the meantime welcome to BirdForum.
