Not the clearest picture but I have seen this bird and wondered if anybody could identify it for me please. Seen in the Halterworth area of Romsey

This is a pheasant of some kind, but not sure which, so I've moved your post to the ID forum and subscribed you to the thread so you can find it easily - you will be notified of any replies.
 
An escaped fancy pheasant of some sort - Swinhoe's Pheasant (from Taiwan, but popular in collections), female, looks to be the best fit.
 
Swinhoes Pheasant female , Had one in my garden in Leeds UK one Christmas day all very odd.
