Not sure about this damselfly from Sardinia June 2018. Thanks for your help.

Thanks Phil and Paul I did not consider this species, probably as the ones I had seen previously had very blue eyes. It was in a very saline area, the only place where I saw Dark Spreadwing.

Mature individuals in spring have blue eyes. I had the opposite experience to you - first saw the brown-eyed September ones and then got thrown with the blue eyes in spring!
