Leica 65mm cover... (1 Viewer)

I thought I would share a pretty decent alternative cover for the Leica 65mm angled scope.
As we all know the $300 Leica cordura covers are very nice, but insanely expensive. I can find no other manufacturer of aftermarket covers for the 65mm angled series.

So....I picked up a Vortex Viper 60mm angled cover on closeout for $29.99 from King's Camo to try.
These are neoprene, the fit is very good for a mismatched cover (a smidge tight); the ocular and objective ends fit well and are quickly removed for scanning without disconnecting the fastening straps.
I may or may not trim the body side rotating knob, I haven't decided.
For the money, it's great protection.
