A new blog on the birds of Sudan (1 Viewer)

There has been so little published on the birds of Sudan, that I was very pleased to hear about a new blog started by Esmat Elhassan, one of the leading ornithologists in the country (sudanbirds.blogspot.com). Esmat works at the Wildlife Research Centre in Sudan and he is an active member of the Sudanese Wildlife Society, so has his finger on the pulse of conservation and research here. I will be following his blog with interest to hear about what birds he is finding, the research he is conducting, and to hear other news concerning wildlife in this interesting, varied and little-studied country.
