I was going through my photos of birds spotted in Cape Verde earlier this year...

Not 100% sure which one this is.

Any idea, please?

Hi Jose,
I don't know the status of the species on the Cape Verdes, but your bird is a Common Chiffchaff. Head pattern, with an obvious broken eye-ring, relatively short primary projection etc exclude other Phylloscopus species.

I don't think there are all that many records. What island was it on?
 
My apologies!! I got my photos mixed up. |=(|

The bird was spotted in Cyprus, not in Cape Verde.

HH75 was probably right when he pointed to Common Chiffchaff.
