I resumed serious birdwatching in March 2005 and managed 193 species (in Europe and North America) by the end of the year. The same list also happens to be my life list. I hope to do better this year and to motivate me towards this objective I've decided to keep my year list here. I will mark lifers with (*). Just got back from a month away in the UK with a flying visit to Lisbon (very limited opportunity for birding) sandwiched in the middle and need to update my year list.
