Gull identification, Pennsylvania (1 Viewer)

I'm posting this for a friend. They took this video in early February of a gull with an almost complete hood.

If I see a gull with a hood this time of the year, I'm immediately thinking Black-headed Gull.

The bird was quite distant, and the images are not great. Anyone have an opinion?

The mantle colour looks way too dark for a Black-headed.

To my inefficient mind there doesnt seem enough hood for Mediterranean or Little
Could it be the Franklin or the Bonarparte?

Very dark grey wings, with very limited white on the wingtips - I'd agree on Laughing Gull.

Does anyone have any experience with Laughing Gull molting into breeding plumage this early?
