Super Fast Falcon (1 Viewer)

If you missed last night's Natural World on BBC 2 this episode is repeated on Sunday 29th April at 1800. Also now available on BBC I-Player.

Fantastic footage and information on Peregrines.

I thought the sequences featuring the trained birds were very contrived (with the exception of the drone flying segment), but the footage of the Chicago birds nesting and hunting was brilliant. What is even better is that so many of us, even (or especially) those of us living in cities all over the US, Europe and elsewhere, have a really good chance to see similar sights with a bit of patience and persistence. A couple months back the pair at Norwich Cathedral made great test subjects for some binoculars I was interested in - I wish they were not so far away from me as there are a couple of really good vantage points in town.

The image resolution was as good as anything I've ever seen on the box, and the aerial gymnastic capture in Chicago was unbelievable! :t:
