Bausch and Lomb Telescope w/ Coolpix4500 (1 Viewer)

Does anyone know if the Nikon Coolpix 4500 can be used successfully with the Bausch and Lomb 15-60 zoom Telescope? Will the two mate up and what adaptor would I need?

Thanks! I am a new potential digital camera buyer who wants to take pictures of birds through my scope.

Hi Jeanie and a big welcome to BirdForum from all the admin and moderators, we hope you enjoy your time here.

I think your scope should produce reasonable results (possibly not up to the standard of many posted in the gallery).

There are adapters that will connect your camera to the scope's eyepiece, in the U.S. there are several to choose from... try digitalastronomy.com or lensadapter.com (this company produces an adapter that will fit almost any eyepiece)
Regards,
Andy
