Carmelite Sunbird: Changed to Chalcomitra fuliginosa (was Nectarinia fuliginosa)
Amethyst Sunbird: Changed to Chalcomitra amethystina (was Nectarinia amethystina)
Green-throated Sunbird: Changed to Chalcomitra rubescens (was Nectarinia rubescens)
Scarlet-chested Sunbird: Changed to Chalcomitra senegalensis (was Nectarinia senegalensis)
Hunter's Sunbird: Changed to Chalcomitra hunteri (was Nectarinia hunteri)
Buff-throated Sunbird: Changed to Chalcomitra adelberti (was Nectarinia adelberti)
 
Scarlet-tufted Sunbird: Changed to Deleornis fraseri (from Anthreptes fraseri);

Santa Barbara Screech Owl changed to Bearded Screech Owl (Megascops barbarus).

Bush-hen changed to Plain Bush-hen: preferred name by both checklists and by Gill and Wright.

Rufous-tailed Waterhen to Rufous-tailed Bush-hen, Talaud Bush Hen to Talaud Bush-hen, and Isabelline Waterhen to Isabelline Bush-hen. In addition, changed the redirect for Bush-hen into a disambiguation page, because "hen" is only three letters and therefore too short to search on, and the two parts of Bush-hen is used independently in the search.

Two "Native Hen"s changed to Native-hen, which is the preferred version in all the usual sources (except Gill and Wright, who use Nativehen). This applies to Black-tailed and Tasmanian N-h.

Changed both Scrub Bird species to Scrubbird, as preferred by H&M and G&W; Clements uses Scrub-bird

In the family Birds of Paradise, all members named "Bird of Paradise" to "Bird-of-Paradise" as all sources including Gill&Wright uses the hyphenated form.
