Lapwing with 1+ young FMill Farm.Peregrine. Red Kite yesterday over High Bridges. Southern Hawker, Black -tailed Skimmer per Pete Hackett

Just had two hours in the valley, clocked 42 species. Nothing out of the ordinary but 30 lapwing in the marsh, 2 buzzard Paddocks, Goosander, 32 mute swan on Forge Mill per Steve Lilly

Numbers had climbed to 37 mute swans (including 4 cygnets) this evening on Forge Mill. The most I've ever seen on that lake.
 
Fantastic count Mike if the numbers keep increasing we could beat the record count of 56 birds in May 2003

Found this old Photo from 1980 copy taken using Phone so quality very poor taken looking out from where the RSPB Centre stands now, to the right of the tree's in the foreground is possibly where the Hide stands now and the area between them and the Golf Course is where the Lake and Island are.
