Poppy fields (1 Viewer)

I was on the train going up to the Farne Islands a few of years ago in May, I was dozing off a bit so I can't remember exactly where we were but probably somewhere around South Yorkshire? But from the train there were some huge cornfields full of poppies for mile after mile, anyone have any idea where they were?

Thanks.

Could be almost anywhere along the rail line - locations will vary from year to year depending on what farmers are doing with their land.

I remember coming across a field full of poppies on the way to Box Hill, Surrey, some years ago. The story was that the local farmer had been unable to aerial spray his fields due to high winds. It was a glorious sight.
