Hi, I work in droylsden near Manchester and on Saturday I saw hundreds of geese in formation flying over. The sight was absolutely amazing. Could anyone tell me any more information about them, such as where they will be going etc. Thanks

Hi margox10 and welcome on behalf of the Staff and Moderators

It's an amazing spectacle isn't it, afraid I can't help with where they were going though, perhaps someone more local to you will be along soon.

They could be Pink-Footed Geese which form large flocks (or Skeins) on migration. Any idea what direction they were going, South East maybe?
