Spanish dragonfly/darter id please..

Not sure of this, the violet colouring, facial markings and wing colouring seem at odds to what I can find online... plenty of violet dropwings around and thousands of red-veined darters... but what's this?!

It's a male Violet Dropwing on its way to becoming violet.

It is right

Males with immature, intermediate and mature colouration attached. You can see the underlying black patterns even in the mature individual.
