Forthcoming...

Winger, Hosner, Bravo, Cuervo, Aristizábal, Cueto & Bates (in press). Inferring speciation history in the Andes with reduced-representation sequence data: an example in the bay-backed antpittas (Aves; Grallariidae; Grallaria hypoleuca s. l.). Mol Ecol.

AOU-SACC...
12. Grallaria hypoleuca (with flavotincta), G. przewalskii, G. erythroleuca, and G. capitalis were considered conspecific ("Bay-backed Antpitta") by Meyer de Schauensee (1970) but not by Peters (1951), Meyer de Schauensee (1966), or any recent authors; they constitute a superspecies (Sibley & Monroe 1990, Krabbe & Schulenberg 2003a). ...

An interesting tidbit from the text: "Recent field work has revealed a population of Grallaria most similar to G. capitalis [Bay Antpitta], but with differences in plumage and voice, filling a percieved distribution gap between G. capitalis and G. erythroleuca [Red-and-white Antpitta] (Hosner et al 2015). We refer to this undescribed, southern population as "southern G. capitalis", and the northern form as "northern G. capitalis" (taxonomic treatment of these forms is not addressed here)".

The Hosner et al paper they cite is in press in Wilson Journal of Ornithology "Avifaunal surveys of the upper Apurimac River Valley, Ayacucho and Cuzco Departments, Peru: New distributional records and biogeographic, taxonomic, and conservation implications"
