I will be visiting the Brazilian side in November on business and I was hoping to grab a spare day birding. Anybody got any idea of places to go by taxi or perhaps a local guide. I've tried one or two but they are all fully booked.

Any idea of the commoner species to be seen would be welcome.
 
Not to doubt you, but... seven months out, the places you looked into were fully booked up?? Wow!

You might look on Cloudbirders to see where others have stayed and birded...
