Grasshopper Warbler or Lanceolated Warbler Pakistan? (1 Viewer)

Himalaya

Well-known member
Taken on 21st Oct at Borit Lake in Gilgit area.

Photographer identified it as Grasshopper Warbler but it looks spotted underneath, has a darkish throat - but not all Grasshopper Warblers have pale throats I believe and it appears to have the right back streaks for a Lanceolated Warbler?

But saying all that it could just be a very tatty bedraggled Grasshopper Warbler that has crossed the Himalayas...

It also appears to have quite a short tail......anyway

Thanks in advance....
